BUP Debating Club (BUPDC) is one of the most prominent clubs of BUP organized with a view to developing latent talent of young minds in literature and logic. The club was founded by a group of enthusiastic undergraduate students of BUP in Jan 01, 2013. At first it began it journey with the name BUP Literature and Debating Club. After three successful Inter varsity debate competition and literature festival we all deemed it only plausible that we need our activities to be separate as the family.

Mission
Bangladesh University of Professionals Debating club (BUPDC) believes that communication skills and rational thinking are essential for empowering students to become good citizens, skilled professionals, and leaders in our society. This club will arrange such events that will help students to improve their grades, research, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Vision

·       BUPDC aims to create the best possible platform for potential debaters to compete in an equal stage and enhance their caliber.

·      To create an intellectual debate community, in which students will learn about important political, financial and social topics through discourse.

·      These students have the ability and potential to become future leaders and one of the primary trait of a leader is to know how to enthrall people with his words and this is what BUPDC aims to help them achieve
