Since January 2016, the Department of Law has been running its LLB (Honours) programme at undergraduate level. Lt Col Siraj Uddin Ahmed (Retd) is now serving the post of departmental head. At present, the Department of Law has nine faculty members and around 400 students in its undergraduate programme. The total number of batches in LLB (Honours) programme is four and each batch has two separate sections. At undergraduate level, both theoretical and practical courses like Jurisprudence, Legal System of Bangladesh, Family Law, Constitutional Law, Interpretation of Statute, Civil and Criminal Law, International Law, Environmental Law, Contract Law, Tort Law, Real Estate and Construction Law, Cyber Security Law, Research Methodology, and Trial and Advocacy, etc. are taught.
