On 11 July 2025, a fresher’s reception was held at Bijoy auditorium on the campus of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) to welcome the newly enrolled students of Master of Public Health (MPH). The event was organized by the Faculty of Medical Studies (FMS), BUP. Brigadier General Md Mizanur Rahman Khan, FCGP, MPhil, MPH, FRSH, Dean, FMS, was present in the session as the Chief Guest. Professor Dr. Md. Ziaul Islam, PhD, Director, NIPSOM, delivered welcome speech addressing the ongoing challenges in Bangladesh’s healthcare system and encouraged the newly enrolled students, as future public health leaders, to tackle these issues and ensure universal access to healthcare. Among others, the Faculties of the MPH Programme, Officials of BUP, students from different batches of MPH were present at the programme. The event served as an opportunity for networking and fostering a sense of community among all participants.
