About Faculty of Business Studies (FBS)

The Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) is an institution committed to fostering academic excellence and preparing students for successful careers in the diverse fields of business. Established in 2009, the FBS initially offered curriculum for MBA & Executive MBA programs, demonstrating an immediate commitment to high-quality postgraduate business education.

In the following year, 2010, FBS expanded its academic offerings to include undergraduate studies, inaugurating its BBA (General) programme. This milestone marks the faculty's commitment to comprehensive business education, reaching students at various stages of their academic journey.

As we embarked on 2016, the FBS underwent a significant expansion with the introduction of four new departments, each dedicated to specialized areas of business study. These departments include the Department of Business Administration in Accounting & Information Systems, the Department of Business Administration in Marketing, the Department of Business Administration in Finance & Banking, and the Department of Business Administration in Management Studies.
