BUP Central Library and Archive started with approximately 500 books in 2010, occupying a 200-square-foot room on the third floor of the MIST Administrative Building. In 2013, the library was relocated to Room 107 on the second floor of the Academic Building. Following two major expansions in 2018 and 2021, this fully air-conditioned facility grew to approximately 8,090 square feet.

In May 2026, the library moved again to a newly constructed, full-fledged University Central Library. This modern, fully air-conditioned facility spans 50,000 square feet across five floors, offering comprehensive learning amenities, cutting-edge technology, and world-class electronic scholarly assets. As of August 2026, the collection boasts 32,000 department-related books and 7,324 journals and magazines.

Library users can independently check books out and in using an RFID-based library management system. Alongside a dedicated cyber corner, the library provides off-campus access via the Knimbus (RemoteXs) E-Subscription platform, allowing users to browse 12 international e-resource links. All services are continuously monitored and maintained to ensure the highest quality standards.
