In addition to its fifty-six well reputed affiliated colleges and institutes, the university has five faculties such as Faculty of Business Studies (FBS), Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies (FSSS), Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), Faculty of Science & Technology (FST), and Faculty of Medical Studies (FMS). BUP has already commenced MPhil and Doctoral programmes conducted under Center for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR) while its Centre for Modern Language (CML) launched certificate courses in Arabic, Chinese, Turkish, Burmese and French language.
