Biography

Nur-E-Zannat Ankhi is a Lecturer at the Department of Development Studies, Bangladesh University of Professionals. She completed her Bachelor of Social Sciences (BSS) and Master of Social Sciences (MSS) in Development Studies from the same university, achieving the "First Class First Position" in both programs. For her exceptional academic standing, where her consistent academic brilliance earned her the Vice Chancellor’s Merit Scholarship and the Dean’s Appreciation Letter for Academic Excellence in every single semester of both programs. 
Prior to her faculty appointment, she gained professional experience as a Research Assistant at the Development Research Initiative (dRi) and as an intern at the Development Initiative for Social Advancement (DISA). Her research interests encompass a broad range of critical issues, including gender studies, migration and refugee studies, climate change, public policy, and the informal economy. She possesses advanced technical expertise in qualitative and quantitative research tools such as NVivo, SPSS, R programming, and STATA.
