Sumaeta Marjan, Assistant Professor, Department of English, BUP has successfully completed the 11th Annual Residential School Training on “Learning from Genocide towards Peace and Justice,” organized by the Centre for the Study of Genocide and Justice in collaboration with the Liberation War Museum.

This intensive program brought together scholars and participants to engage with critical issues surrounding histories of violence, memory, and resilience. Through a series of lectures, workshops, and interactive sessions, the training fostered deeper reflection on the ethical and educational responsibilities involved in promoting peace, justice, and empathy in contemporary society. It also emphasized the significance of interdisciplinary approaches in understanding conflict, trauma, and collective memory.
