Dhaka Bank PLC Holds Campus Recruitment Viva at BUP
for Management Trainee Officer and Trainee Officer Positions
Dhaka, 02 September 2026: Dhaka Bank PLC conducted a campus recruitment viva examination for the positions of Management Trainee Officer (MTO) and Trainee Officer (TO) at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) on 02 September 2026.
The recruitment viva was held at the BUP campus with the active support, coordination, and supervision of officials from the Counselling & Placement Centre (CPC), BUP. Senior officials of Dhaka Bank PLC, together with CPC representatives, conducted the viva as part of the bank’s final recruitment process, providing candidates with an opportunity to demonstrate their academic knowledge, communication skills, analytical abilities, and professional competencies.
Representing Dhaka Bank PLC, two Senior HR Managers from the Principal Branch, along with three officials, including the Deputy Director of CPC, jointly coordinated and supervised the recruitment proceedings. The viva was conducted through two separate viva boards, ensuring a systematic, transparent, and well-organized assessment process for the participating candidates.
The recruitment initiative focused on identifying talented and promising graduates with strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, and digital competencies to contribute to the evolving banking sector. Particular emphasis was placed on developing a workforce capable of supporting the bank’s digital transformation, technology-driven services, innovation, and customer-focused banking operations.
A large number of aspiring graduates from various faculties of BUP, including the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS), Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), and Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies (FSSS), participated in the recruitment process. The strong participation demonstrated the growing interest of BUP graduates in pursuing professional careers in the banking, financial services, technology, and digital transformation sectors.
The successful organization of the campus recruitment viva reflects the continued commitment of both Dhaka Bank PLC and BUP to strengthening industry–academia collaboration and creating meaningful employment opportunities for talented young graduates. Such initiatives provide students with direct exposure to corporate recruitment processes while enabling industry organizations to identify and recruit capable graduates from diverse academic backgrounds.
