The Final Round and Prize Giving Ceremony of Capitalizer 2025, an exclusive inter-university investment strategy competition, was held on 28 June 2025 at Le Méridien, Dhaka. The event was organized by BUP Finance Society under the supervision of the Department of Finance and Banking, Faculty of Business Studies, BUP. The competition, powered by Akij Steel Mills Ltd and copowered by Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Shwapno, was designed to enhance students' understanding of real-world investment strategies and financial decision-making. A total of 324 teams from 27 public and private universities across Bangladesh participated in the competetion. The three-round competition began with online phases focusing on financial fundamentals, strategy formulation, and data-driven analysis, while the Grand Finale featured live presentations by the top teams. In the competition, participants demonstrated their knowledge in equity and debt analysis, portfolio construction, risk assessment, and macroeconomic evaluation.

In the final round, team Wolves of Mohammadpur Street from IBA, DU became the champion, team Sells Like Team Spirit from IBA, DU became the 1st runner-up, and team Pac-Man Defense from FBS, DU became the 2nd runner-up for Capitalizer 2025.

The Chief Guest of the ceremony, Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, PhD, Vice Chancellor of BUP, handed over prizes to the winners and praised their analytical and strategic abilities. Among others, Chairman, Sena Kalyan Sangstha Major General Md Habib Ullah, SGP, SPP, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, CEO of HSBC Bangladesh, Md. Mahbub ur Rahman, BUP high officials, faculty members, sponsor representatives, alumni, participants, and invited guests were also present at the programme.
