The Department of Law under the Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies organized a Lecture on “National Security and Defense Services in the Constitution of Bangladesh,” on 07 July 2025, at the university's Virtual Classroom for the students of LAW2023 batch.
The session was graced by Air Commodore Muhammad Mushtaqur Rahman, BSP, BPP, ndc, afwc, psc, who currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Aviation Management at Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh. A distinguished officer with a decorated military career and extensive academic credentials, the Chief Guest began the lecture with infectious enthusiasm, immediately capturing the attention of all attendees.
Drawing from his extensive operational and academic experience, Air Commodore Mushtaq provided a comprehensive analysis of the constitutional provisions governing national defense and security, particularly from the often-underexplored perspective of the armed forces.
The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment, where the Chief Guest addressed several thought-provoking questions posed by the students.
The lecture proved to be both stimulating and enlightening, leaving the participants with new intellectual tools to examine the legal framework of Bangladesh.
