A team from the Department of Finance & Banking, Bangladesh University of Professionals secured the First Runner-Up position at Accolyze 2025, an international inter-university accounting case competition organized by the NSU Accounting Club in collaboration with North South University and presented by United Commercial Bank PLC. The competition brought together participants from multiple universities across the globe to solve complex, real-world accounting and financial case problems.

Accolyze 2025 focused on analytical problem-solving, financial modelling, and strategic decision-making under competitive conditions. Teams were evaluated based on the accuracy of analysis, feasibility of recommendations, and presentation effectiveness before a panel of academic and industry experts.

Competing under the team name The Godfathers, the team included Md Al Shahoriar Hossain (ID: 2222151064), Saifullah Bin Ashraf (ID: 2222151146), and Tausif Ansary Niloy (ID: 2222151022) from the Department of Finance & Banking, along with T. M. Waliullah Turjo, CSCA™ (ID: 2224161123) from the Department of Management Studies at Bangladesh University of Professionals. Their combined effort in research, structured analysis, and presentation enabled them to secure this position at an international-level competition.

This achievement highlights the analytical strength and competitive excellence of BUP students and reinforces the Department of Finance & Banking as a strong contributor to international academic competitions.
