On 23 May 2026 - In a remarkable achievement that adds another glorious milestone to the legacy of the Department of Business Administration-General, Faculty of Business Studies (FBS), Team “Assets = Capital + Liabilities” emerged as the Champions of JCI Dhaka Astral Presents Capitalizer 2026, one of the country’s most prestigious investment strategy competitions organized by “BUP Finance Society” .
The champion team comprised three talented students from the Department of BBA General — Tauqir Anwar, Avra Pallab Nandy, and Shadab Mehedi. Through exceptional analytical ability, strategic thinking, and confident presentation skills, the team secured the championship title by outperforming more than 300 participating teams from universities across Bangladesh.
The grand finale of the competition was held at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on 23 May 2026, where the top six finalist teams competed for the prestigious title. Notably, the victorious team from BBA General became the youngest team ever to win the competition, demonstrating the department’s growing excellence in business education, leadership, and competitive performance.
The award ceremony was graced by Major General A. S. M. Ridwanur Rahman, awc, afwc, psc, G as the Chief Guest and Brigadier General Md Aminul Akbar Khan, awc, afwc, psc, MPhil, Dean, FBS as the Special Guest, who handed over the crests to the winning team. Chairmen and faculty members of FBS, representatives from sponsoring organizations, partners of the competition, and members of the “BUP Finance Society” were also present at the event.
This outstanding achievement reflects the academic excellence, dedication, and competitive spirit of the students of the Department of Business Administration-General.
