Three BUP Members Represent Bangladesh as South Asian Young Leaders in Prestigious YSALI 2026 Leadership Program in the US

Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) proudly congratulates three distinguished members of the BUP family for successfully completing the prestigious Young South Asian Leaders Initiative (YSALI) 2026 Workshop on American Excellence, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation in the United States.

The participants are:

1. Niamat Ullah Al Galib: Legal Officer (Registrar Office) and Alumnus of LL.M (Professional)

2. Tanzeel Rashid: Alumnus of Development Studies (Class of 2023)

3. Rakib Hassan: Current student of BBA General (Class of 2026)

This fully funded international exchange program held from 9–23 May 2026 in Omaha, Nebraska, and Washington, D.C. and brought together 36 outstanding young leaders from across South Asia to strengthen their leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

The program was organized by the University of Nebraska Omaha and the East-West Center, with sponsorship from the United States Department of State.

During the two-week program, participants engaged in intensive leadership development sessions, cultural exchange activities, policy discussions, and innovation-focused learning experiences. They visited several renowned institutions and innovation hubs, including the LinkedIn Offices, Amazon Headquarters 2 (HQ2), AWS Skills Center, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. The participants also interacted with Offices from the United States Department of State and took part in academic and professional engagements at George Washington University, Gallaudet University, and the University of Nebraska Omaha, among others.

BUP takes immense pride in the successful completion of this prestigious international program by its students, alumni, and Officials. Their achievement reflects the University's commitment to developing globally engaged leaders and further strengthens BUP's presence on the international stage.
