On 7 May 2026, the Respected Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies held an interactive session with the students of the Department of Business Administration in Finance and Banking. The session was mainly a motivational and thoughtful exchange, where the Dean provided valuable guidance on personal growth, discipline, leadership, ethics, and the role of students in building a better future.

During his presentation, the Dean highlighted the unique qualities that distinguish human beings from other living creatures. He explained how humans become truly great through knowledge, hard work, discipline, and meaningful contributions to society. Through various practical examples, he inspired the students to think beyond ordinary success and encouraged them to work in a way that leaves a positive and lasting impact on the world.

He emphasized that hard work should not be seen only as a way to achieve external rewards. Rather, true development comes through personal effort, dedication, and consistency. He also discussed how modern civilization has progressed through the contributions of hardworking and knowledgeable people. According to him, nations that have reached the peak of development have done so because of visionary leadership, sincere effort, and disciplined citizens.

The Dean also reflected on the development of Bangladesh in comparison with countries such as Singapore, Vietnam, and Malaysia. He mentioned that these countries achieved remarkable progress through proper leadership and national commitment. He encouraged the students by saying that the future leaders and builders of Bangladesh may come from among them, and through their knowledge, honesty, and hard work, they can contribute to the development of the nation.

A significant part of the session focused on the importance of punctuality, discipline, and self-development in personal and professional life. The Dean explained how these qualities help individuals become more responsible, productive, and successful. He also warned the students about the harmful effects of drug abuse, explaining how it destroys individuals, families, society, and the overall progress of a nation.

Furthermore, he discussed the dangers of earning money through unethical means. He explained how dishonesty can damage a person’s character, destroy families, weaken society, and harm the state. He reminded the students that honesty is always the best policy. Although dishonest income may bring temporary pleasure, it can never bring lasting peace, respect, or success.

In conclusion, the Dean encouraged the students to live a meaningful life and to do something remarkable for humanity. He stated that human history has been remembered for thousands of years because of the contributions left behind by people. Therefore, every student should dream big, work sincerely, stay honest, and contribute positively to society so that they too can be remembered for their good deeds and meaningful achievements.
